The problem

Bounce-house and party-rental businesses need a professional online storefront, bookings and deposit payments, but each one building its own site is slow and expensive. The platform behind them needs to onboard vendors, keep every tenant isolated and roll out updates to all storefronts safely.

What I built

  1. 01

Four apps shipped as one product: API, dashboard, storefront, admin.

  2. 02

A fully type-safe API of about 120 procedures, with no codegen.

  3. 03

Vendor dashboard for inventory, bookings, domains and payouts.

  4. 04

One storefront container per vendor, on its own domain if wanted.

  5. 05

Approving a vendor launches their storefront on AWS automatically.

  6. 06

Stripe Connect for booking deposits, Stripe Billing for plans.

  7. 07

Rotating JWT refresh tokens and httpOnly cookies behind a proxy.

  8. 08

AWS infrastructure as code, deployed with auto-rollback.

Vendor portal: product inventory with status, pricing and bookings
Storefront: shop by category and featured rentals
Vendor portal: booking requests queue
Storefront: party bundles
Vendor portal: delivery area and pricing on a map
Storefront: cart with order summary
Vendor portal: storefront content editor
Storefront: event details and delivery location step
Vendor portal: earnings charts
Storefront: booking confirmed

Results

~120
Type-safe API procedures
4
Apps in one product
1 container

Outcome

In active development as my own product. The API, vendor dashboard and admin console already run on AWS, and the whole stack, from storefront provisioning to custom domains, payments and infrastructure, is built and reproducible from code.
